Cadence
BetaGeneric training plans assume you're a different athlete than you are. Cadence works with your actual data.
What is Cadence?
Cadence is an AI training coach built on Anthropic’s Claude. It connects directly to Whoop and Strava — your recovery scores, sleep, strain, and ride data — and uses that context to coach you like someone who’s been watching your season unfold, not someone who just met you.
The output isn’t a dashboard. It’s a coaching conversation grounded in what’s actually happening in your body and on your bike.
Recovery-Aware Guidance
Most training plans don’t know you slept five hours and your HRV is tanked. Cadence does. Before recommending anything, it reads your current recovery score, resting heart rate, sleep efficiency, and seven-day strain trend from Whoop. If today’s not the day to push, it says so plainly.
Ride Analysis
After every ride, Cadence pulls your Strava data and goes deeper than the summary screen. It looks at how your effort actually played out over the course of the ride, flags where you’re building fitness and where fatigue is accumulating, and connects what happened on the bike to how you’ve been recovering off it.
Training Readiness
Cadence synthesizes your recent load, recovery trends, and upcoming schedule to tell you where you are in your fitness cycle and what that means for the next few days. Not a readiness score — a read on your situation.
Long-Distance Focus
Cadence is built for endurance athletes preparing for events that take hours, not minutes. The coaching logic reflects how fitness accumulates and erodes across a long build: when to press, when to back off, and when the data is telling you something your training plan isn’t.
How It Works
Cadence is a Cowork plugin that runs in the Claude desktop app. It connects to Whoop and Strava through authenticated integrations and enriches ride data with additional performance context. Setup takes a few minutes. After that, your coaching sessions start from where your data left off.
